Background:
I was born in Hannibal and raised in Clarksville, Missouri. I attended a small rural school called BONCL until 6th grade and then transferred to Clopton where I graduated in May 2003 with my College Prep Diploma.
After high school I attended Western Illinois University on a softball scholarship where I played for 1 year. I then transferred to Hannibal LaGrange College (University) on a softball and basketball scholarship. At HLGU I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
Before graduating college I started working as a part-time teller at F&M Bank and Trust Company. I was fortunate to be able to begin working as a full-time teller after graduating. Throughout my 3 years working in the banking industry I held several different positions:Teller, Customer Service Representative, Administrative Assistant and Loan Officer.
After 3 years of working in the banking industry I decided to go back to college to get my teaching degree. I attended Missouri Baptist University and received my Master of Arts in Education.
I am in my 6th year of teaching with this being my first year at Montgomery County High School. I previously taught at Bowling Green for 1 year and my Alma Matter, Clopton, for 4 years.
I am very excited about working at Montgomery County High School and look forward to a new chapter in my career.
